Market forces for Open RAN
Good piece Iain -- with some colorful analogies. I wouldn't quite compare operating a mobile network to being in prison, but anyway...

One thing that is really important is market forces. Standards, specs and sentiment are just one part. Perhaps more difficult will be to actually create a market for Open RAN. Operators talk abut white box radio, but where are the suppliers?
