iPad Killing Half of Laptop Sales?

9:40 AM -- Best Buy CEO Brian Dunn says Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL)'s iPad is cannibalizing 50 percent of laptop sales, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Dunn's revelation comes on the same day that Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty reported that the netbook market is also being wrecked by the tablet device. Sales of netbooks declined for the first time in August.

Apple is expected to sell 28 million iPads in 2011.
