Yes and I should point out that the Wi-Fi access point capability in Samsung's consumer point-and-shoot cameras is an interesting defensive move, as consumers are being told that their smartphones have the only camera they'll ever need. Not true, if you want good pictures, but true enough to cause Samsung to make that extra step.

This is interesting. For years CES participants were consumed by the concept of The Digital Home. Exhibitors built mock houses inside the Las Vegas Convention Center to show how the connected home could serve all manner of devices throughout the household. 


Now, as Samsung is saying, it's all about The Connected Consumer, serving their personalized interests no matter where they are, which devices they're using (that camera sounds cool), and what type of media they want to consume. That may seem to some like a subtle difference in perspective, but it has major implications for the way that service providers need to think about serving their customers.
