Siverge Griffin Lands at ZTE

4:15 PM -- Siverge Networks announced today that it scored a deal with ZTE Corp. (Shenzhen: 000063; Hong Kong: 0763), which will use the Israeli vendor's chips in multiservice and wireless backhaul products. (See ZTE Uses Siverge Chips.)

ZTE said it will use Siverge's Griffin product line of chips for "multi-service applications." The chips are designed for transport and backhaul. (See Siverge Tackles Backhaul.)

Siverge worked with partner Comtech Broadband, which is a Chinese distributor and engineering services company. According to the Siverge press release, the deal with ZTE strenghtens Siverge's presence in China.
