FCC 5G Auction Now at $490.7M in Bids

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) 's initial 28GHz millimeter wave (mmWave) 5G auction has now hit $490.7 billion in bids in the 11th day of active action rounds.

The agency's auction dashboard lists 2,717 auctions with provisionally winning bids (PWBs). The FCC still holds 355 licenses.
