The third day of activity in the first FCC 28GHz 5G spectrum auction has seen total bidding near $70 million this Friday.
There are now provisionally winning bids (PWB) for 2,129 licenses. That leaves 943 licenses still being held by the FCC. The auction will continue until there are no further bids. (See FCC Auction Day 2, Bids Equal $47.8M.)
The next round of bidding is expected to start at 10AM ET on Monday. We will update the numbers here.
