12:45 PM -- Telia Company says it will start selling new dongles from Samsung Corp. that support GSM, HSPA, and LTE on Wednesday, June 30, just meeting its target to offer multi-mode 4G dongles by the end of the second quarter. The drag for the new USB dongles is that they cannot seamlessly switch between LTE and the 3G and 2G networks. The devices can hand over between the 2G and 3G networks, but won't be able to hand over among all three networks until early next year, an operator spokeswoman tells Light Reading Mobile.

The Samsung dongles are the only LTE devices the Swedish operator offers for its networks in Sweden and Norway. "They're the only ones available in the market, so they're the ones we're going with," says the spokeswoman.
