CAIRO, Egypt -- SySDSoft, (www.sysdsoft.com) a leading provider of wireless protocol stacks and embedded software designs; is the first company in the market to provide a 3GPP-compliant LTE Protocol Stack for User Equipment that combines the highest performance measures, shortest development time, and a realistic implementation based on deep awareness of the customer needs.

"The extensive experience we gained during the past years has yielded its fruits through our UE LTE Protocol Stack solution" commented Khaled Ismail, CEO of SySDSoft, on the company's LTE stack that has been carefully designed to be highly efficient, modular, and portable in order to avoid all the struggles that may face the customer during the baseband/stack integration.

The design covers all the mandatory and optional features stated in the latest version of the 3GPP LTE standard. This grants UE chip manufacturers a complete interoperability with the LTE ecosystem. "With a highly skilled on-site support team, and a standardized design that exactly fits with the customer needs, we offer our customers a "chip-friendly" protocol stack that gives them the chance to be the first into the LTE market." added Khaled Ismail.

SySDSoft has announced the availability of Release 1 of its UE LTE Protocol Stack last February. The first release has been thoroughly tested on ARM processors and achieved Category 4, the highest to-date LTE traffic rates (150Mbps UL, 75Mbps DL). The second release is scheduled in Q3 2007 and is targeting higher performance and rates.

The company is planning to demonstrate its new product during the LTE World Summit in Berlin, May 18-20.
