Why this matters
Verizon Wireless is the undisputed LTE champ in the U.S. currently, with 304 markets already up and running. AT&T, however, is still way ahead of smaller rivals Sprint Corp. (NYSE: S) and T-Mobile US Inc. , as neither has yet launched a single city using the latest 4G technology.
