Huawei Lands LTE Deal in India

India's leading mobile operator, Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Mumbai: BHARTIARTL), has handed out another Long Term Evolution Time Division Duplex (LTE TDD) network rollout and services deal, this time to Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd.

The Chinese vendor will provide 4G network infrastructure and associated managed services to the mobile operator in the southwest circle (service area) of Karnataka, one of four circles where Bharti has a BWA (Broadband Wireless Access) license. Financial details were not disclosed.
