Ericsson Lands LTE Coup in India

6:45 AM -- Ericsson AB (Nasdaq: ERIC) has landed something of a coup in India by being the first supplier to be officially awarded a Long Term Evolution Time Division Duplex (LTE TDD) deal in the country.

Augere Holdings , which holds a Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) license in the "circle" (service area) of Madhya Pradesh, has chosen the Swedish vendor for a wide-ranging deal that involves multiple network elements and managed services.
