CTIA: Where 4G Heats Up
4G LTE was first launched by Verizon Wireless late in 2010, but this is the year the technology will become much more mainstream. (See What We Mean When We Say '4G'.)
That's not such a bold statement to make when you consider the progress the wireless operators have already made and will continue to make with more market deployments, new handsets and a singular focus on promoting their 4G networks. Nowhere will this be more evident than at the CTIA 's Spring Show in New Orleans, where the 4G LTE ecosystem will come together. Light Reading Mobile will be at the show, bringing you all the highlights.
Here's what we're expecting to hear about at the show, the first CTIA to take place in THE year of LTE.
