Clearwire's Spectrum Sale

9:30 AM -- Clearwire LLC (Nasdaq: CLWR) is looking to raise between $2.5 billion and $5 billion by selling off some of its spectrum in an auction, reports Bloomberg.

And everybody's interested.

Potential buyers for the 40MHz of spectrum in each market reportedly include AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T), Verizon Wireless , Deutsche Telekom AG (NYSE: DT), Sprint Corp. (NYSE: S), and Time Warner Cable Inc. (NYSE: TWC). The auction is in its second round and is being run by Deutsche Bank AG . Clearwire, along with the other operators mentioned as interested potential spectrum buyers, declined to comment in the Bloomberg article.
