HOLMDEL, NJ -- VPIsystems, the leading provider of network lifecycle management software, and Granite Systems, the leading provider of Service Resource Management (SRM) software solutions, today announced an alliance to market integrated solutions in the Asia Pacific region. VPI will offer Granite's Xng network inventory and configuration management system as part of the VPI Design & Deployment Center(tm) to combine capacity planning and forecasting with inventory rollout.
VPIsystems CEO, Kay Iversen, says the cooperation will reduce investment uncertainty and minimize capital expenses by automatically populating network plans with accurate information about the installed network. "It's clear that network operators need to use state-of-the-art software to capture the embedded network, optimize the available capacity and meet forecast demand. We are very pleased to interface our best-in-class business and network planning systems with Granite's network inventory solutions to meet this need," Iversen said.
