STOCKHOLM -- Telepo and Trio have entered into a strategic cooperation agreement to provide true fixed to mobile integration. The solution will be showcased during the conference “IP-telefonidagarna”, April 6th in Stockholm, Sweden.

Telepo and Trio will launch a co-developed solution for seamless integration of mobile phones with the Trio attendant console. The solution is built on the award winning Telepo Business Communication Serverä, which effectively allows enterprises to integrate, and eventually replace, traditional land lines with any mobile phones and IP-based voice solutions. CygateMåldata has also taken part in the development.

Telepo’s core product, the Telepo Business Communication Serverä, is integrating the mobile phones seamless with the enterprise voice network and applications. It’s enabling a coherent set of services (independent of their service provider, network and device), such as single personal number and enabling typical PBX functions during a call, with considerable savings. Enterprises can make extensive cost savings, typically 30-60% on international calls and up to 80% on roaming calls, with a payback on investment of 6-9 months.

Since before, Trio’s attendant solution is strongly positioned, among other things through its operator independence, the intuitive user interface and the advanced database searching functions. Now another important feature is added as mobile presence information is improved.

“The integration of mobile phones in our solution is a central part of our development, due to its obvious benefits for our customers”, says Michael Stubbing, President Trio Enterprise Division. “With the Trio and Telepo true fixed to mobile integration, the customer will be able to monitor mobile phone status in real-time and make referrals.”
