STOCKHOLM -- Telepo, a fast-growing software company based in Sweden, today announced the launch of Telepo Softphone+, an advanced virtual mobile phone solution for the enterprise market. Telepo Softphone+ enables the PC or laptop to become a virtual extension of the mobile phone and for managing all business communications, providing full voice and messaging capabilities.

Telepo Softphone+ enables the business user to further expand their connectivity, using one identity and telephone number regardless of media, device, location and network. It is a complete PC-based solution for mobile workers and complements mobile, fixed and IP hardware phones. Users can access key communication functions such as messaging, conferencing and other similar services via the PC.

Telepo Softphone+ will further enhance mobility by enabling converged features between devices, such as sharing call logs and contacts online, and unifying user experience with the mobile phone.

"As companies migrate from fixed phones to mobile phones and IP-based communication solutions, enterprise communication will need to support converged mobility across different networks, devices and locations”, said Lars-Michaël Paqvalén, CEO of Telepo. “The Telepo Softphone+ gives them further flexibility by providing the same functionality and user experience on both fixed, mobile and IP-based devices. By doing this, we can provide an intelligent and intuitive mobile workplace for advanced communication and collaboration, without requiring any change to end user behaviour.”
