Smith Micro's connection management software tapped for Clear mobile WiMax service

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. -- Smith Micro Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:SMSI), a leading developer and marketer of mobility solutions and services for the wireless market, today announced it has been selected by Clearwire Corporation to deliver connection management software for their mobile WiMAX customers. Smith Micro Software designed a connection manager enabling customers to connect to Clear™ mobile WiMAX service.
In conjunction with this first widely-deployed 4G wireless service, Smith Micro has customized the connection manager specifically to Clear's mobile WiMAX requirements. This application features a highly refined user interface emphasizing ease-of-use, reliability and simplicity. The application also supports most major WiMAX devices in the industry today.
