Polaris to show carrier-grade LTE at CTIA Wireless
April 10, 2012
LEXINGTON, Mass. -- Polaris Networks, a leading provider of networking protocol software and test solutions for Wireless 4G technologies today announced that after a successful showing at the Mobile World Congress, they will be demonstrating their carrier grade LTE solutions as well as Test Tools at Booth # 4708 at the CTIA Wireless 2012, to be held in New Orleans (May 08 - May 10).
The NetEPC(C) is a new easy-to-use and cost-effective product from the company's carrier-grade line of solutions. The company launched this at the Mobile World Congress earlier this year in Barcelona. The CTIA Wireless show will give Polaris the opportunity to demonstrate this and introduce it to the American market. The product combines the functionality of the Evolved Packet Core (EPC) including the Mobile Management Entity (MME), the Serving Gateway (S-GW), the Packet Data Network Gateway(PDN-GW), the Home Subscriber Server (HSS) and the Policy Charging and Rules Function (PCRF) as per 3GPP standards and is ideal for Tier II-III deployments by Operators & Public Safety Departments.
