Page Plus Doubles Down on Mobile Data
Page Plus Cellular 55 plan increases data to 2 GB
June 7, 2012
HOLLAND, Ohio -- Nationwide mobile service provider Page Plus Cellular today announced that it has again improved its top tier cell phone plan by doubling the amount of data provided to two gigabytes. The 55 plan, which also includes unlimited voice calling and unlimited texting, had previously provided one gigabyte of data since January of this year. At that time it was doubled from 500 megabytes to one gigabyte. The price of the plan will remain at $55.00 per month.
"It's a misconception for many people who think they need unlimited data in their cell phone plan," said Denny Scher, Page Plus marketing manager. "In reality, 95% of people do not use more than two gigabytes of data per month. But data usage is still on the rise, and we are constantly tweaking and improving our plans in response to customer needs."
"The 55 plan really took off when we increased the data to one gigabyte, and that was just this past January," continued Scher. "Now with doubling the data to two gigabytes for the same monthly price, this plan is an incredible value, and the customer experience is very good because we do not throttle data speeds like our competitors do."
