("OrascomTelecom” or “OTH”) today announced its subscriber base exceeded the 50million benchmark.OTH recorded over 50 million total subscribes on its networks, growing from 30million to 50 million in 12 months or a 67% increase. This growth is fuelled by thecompany’s aggressive strategy to capture the lion’s share of the highsubscribers’ growth by capitalising on its leadership position in each of itsexisting markets, by investing in its network coverage and quality, and bykeeping ahead of its competitors by offering new and innovative products tailoredto the local market conditions.
