GUANGZHOU, China -- Optiviva (Guangzhou, China & Los Altos, California) announces that they will be exhibiting at the upcoming OFC/NFOEC 2005 Exposition at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA, March 8 through March 11. Optiviva will be located at booth 2680 at the conference. In addition to their patented MEMS VOA product line, they will be displaying a full line of optical active and passive components and dynamic modules to meet the market needs. Optiviva is an ISO certified manufacturer, with a full Telcordia testing facility and QA system to back the quality of its product offerings to the global marketplace.
Optiviva announced the general availability of its MEMS VOA product line in October 2004, after full qualification based on Telcordia 1221 and 1209. Optiviva's products are all produced in China, which allows the company to offer a significant cost savings to their customers. The current proprietary MEMS based photonic product line includes VOA, VOA Array, MEMS Switch (1x2, 1x4 and 2x2), and dynamic modules (V-Mux and R-OADM). Optiviva MEMS VOAs have the leading optical performance as well as mechanical characteristics regarding in-situ vibration and in-situ mechanical shock performance as required by Telcordia GR-63.
