Optical component vendor opens a Munich office for sales and tech support

EATONTOWN, N.J. -- OpNext Inc., a global leader in high-performance optical networking components, today announced the expansion of its worldwide sales and technical support network with a European office located in Munich, Germany."One of the founding philosophies of OpNext was to provide excellent service to our customers", said Harry Bosco, President and CEO of OpNext. "Having global offices near our customers allows us to work closely with them to integrate our optical engines into their systems, and our European office is the next step in our strategic growth plan."The office will operate under the name OpNext Germany, GmbH and will be directed by Bernd Runge. An industry veteran, Runge will direct all sales and marketing functions in Europe. The European team will serve customers in Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the UK, as well as the Nordic and Benelux countries.OpNext Inc.
