Drawing on civil and local government support, Liceu was re-opened with a rebuilt and improved state-of-the-art TV Production studio comprised of the latest technological advances to facilitate high-quality and rapid transmission of performances to larger audiences.Supplied by local systems integrator Vitelsa, the Opera House installed Network Electronics' VikinX equipment to distribute video signals to all its internal monitors and displays throughout the theatre.
