First-quarter revenues reach €25.7 million at IPTV technology firm

NEUILLY-SUR-SEINE, France -- Netgem generated consolidated revenues of € 25.7 million, of which around 47% were generated internationally, for the quarter ending March 31st, 2011. To place this in context, the 2010 first quarter sales of € 46.9 million included the one-off payment from SFR for the software license granted in January 2010.
Over the quarter, Netgem has:
Launched its Software Development Kit (SDK) in order to accelerate the development of an ecosystem of applications and additional services for its customers within a network of partners;
Broadened its offering with off-the-shelf IPTV solutions for Tier 2 - Tier 3 operators, allowing shorter time-to-market and lower investment costs;
Announced the implementation of its IPTV software platform using the power of the Intel Atom(TM) CE4200 processor.
Netgem has continued its international expansion and has signed agreements with four additional operators:
Netplus.ch, a group representing five Cable TV operators in Switzerland, for which Netgem will deploy new innovative IPTV services in Q42011, these will include PVR, VOD and nonlinear multimedia content;
H1 Telekom, a Croatia-based telecom operator;
A Latin American operator and another European operator.
