MTS connects Kerala’s length and breadth in just four months

KOCHI, India -- MTS, the telephony brand of Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited(SSTL), a joint venture between Sistema (LSE: SSA) of Russia and Shyam Group of India,today announced enhanced network capacity that will enable its mobile telephony services to beavailable across all the 14 districts of Kerala, covering 425 towns. This marks the completion ofPhase One of MTS India’s network roll-out in Kerala, which has been completed in less thanfour months of its operations in the state. MTS was recently also recognized as the “MostSuccessful New Telecom Operator” at the Infocomm CMAI National Telecom Awards held inJuly 2009.
