BARCELONA -- TECORE® Wireless Systems, a leading supplier of 3G and next-generation wireless networks, and MP Telecommunications, an emerging wireless infrastructure provider and Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE), have announced today that MP Telecommunications has deployed TECORE’s T-MVNO platform to provide the wireless infrastructure for Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) and services associated with this industry segment. With TECORE’s core network solution, MP Telecommunications will provide turn-key infrastructure solutions for small network operators, MVNEs, and MVNOs.

Supporting a variety of MVNO business models, TECORE’s T-MVNO platform provides a modular architecture that supports any wireless technology – GSM, CDMA, or converged WiFi/WiMAX services. TECORE’s solution provides all core network components that MVNOs require, including a fully functional MSC/Gateway-MSC, integrated HLR, SMSC, and Prepaid and other services. The solution allows for either a centralized integrated core network model or a distributed core networking model, providing scalability ideally suited for new market entrants in the MVNO arena.

In addition to the MVNO core network solution, MP Telecommunications has deployed TECORE’s AdaptaCell® BTS-4000XE and AirSite® Backhaul Freeä GSM base stations to enhance highway coverage over the highly traveled routes to and from the United States to enable roaming services for travelers. The BTS-4000XE features the innovative iBSSä software, which embeds the GSM A and Gb interfaces into the base station platform, eliminating the need for traditional BSC, TRAU and PCU elements.
