YAKUM, Israel -- Metalink Ltd., a leader in providing high performance broadband access chipsets, today announced that Tzvika Shukhman, Metalink’s chairman and CEO, has purchased shares of Metalink's stock in the open market. During the period of November 2, 2001 to November 5, 2002, Mr. Shukhman purchased the 606,300 shares, which increased his beneficial ownership to 5,001,724 shares. Mr. Shukman has been a steady buyer of Metalink shares from time to time in open market trades in accordance with Metalink’s trading window policies since November 2001. Mr. Shukhman’s insider trades reported on Form 13D filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
