SANTA CLARA, Calif. and LAS VEGAS -- Extending its always-on, connected lifestyle vision to next-generation networks, Marvell (Nasdaq: MRVL) today announced an end-to-end, enhanced LTE-PON platform designed to facilitate fast and efficient end-user access to home and public cloud content. In a world where consumers rely more and more on cloud access from multiple locations and during transit, Marvell's LTE platform is designed to ensure optimum data processing, transfer and storage, ultimately allowing service providers to deliver on next-generation performance promises. Marvell will demonstrate the solution this week by appointment at Interop 2012 in Las Vegas.

"Marvell's new LTE platform raises the bar and defines a new standard for quality of experience," said Paul Valentine, vice president of marketing for the Cloud Services and Infrastructure (CSI) Business Unit of Marvell Semiconductor, Inc. "In its vision of the connected lifestyle, Marvell is committed to providing a comprehensive technological foundation for a range of services and applications. We understand that consumers will use their LTE devices to access data-intensive content on multiple clouds from wherever they are. Marvell positions service providers to support these demands - creating a significant competitive advantage."
