SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- LightLogic, Inc.today announced that it has launched and begun shipping OC-192 (10 Gb/s) SONET/SDH transponders that are compatible with a1st generation 300 pin multi-source agreement (MSA). Simultaneously, the company said it was co-founding a 2ndgeneration MSA for small footprint OC-192 transponders with a group of leading optical component companies. These small footprinttransponders are expected to be available in Q2 of 2001.
