DENVER -- IPtimize, Inc. (Pink Sheets: IPZI, "IPtimize"), a broadband voice and data service provider, announced today that it will work with BroadSoft, Inc., the leading provider of VoIP application software, to enable IPtimize to offer a suite of advanced voice applications to its cable system customers.

As a result of the collaboration, commercial and residential end-users of smaller cable systems will gain the ability to manage multiple types of communications, such as e-mail and voicemail, as well as their wireless and wireline telephony features. IPtimize will build its multimedia IP services around BroadSoft's BroadWorks® VoIP application platform.

"By teaming with BroadSoft, IPtimize's cable system customers can now provide more advanced services that they've wanted to offer for a long time but that haven't been economic or practical for them," said Ron Pitcock, IPtimize's Chairman and CEO. "BroadSoft provides VoIP applications to 7 of the top 10 largest carriers worldwide and to some of the largest cable multi-service operators. IPtimize can help provide access to these services for smaller providers so that they too can compete in the IP world."
