SHENZHEN, China -- HuaweiTechnologies Co. Ltd., a leader in providing next generation networktelecommunication solutions for operators around the world, and BroadSoft,Inc., a leading provider of VoIP application software, today announced thatBroadSoft's BroadWorks® IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) application platformhas been successfully integrated as part of the Huawei's IMS solutions fortelecom operators. Under an agreement with BroadSoft, Huawei will distributethe BroadWorks platform.

The partnership with BroadSoft is expected to accelerate the globaldeployment of IP multi-media services-particularly in the enterprise marketsegment-by enhancing operators' ability to deliver comprehensive IP Centrexand PBX services. Huawei is promoting a competitive IMS industry supplychain for operators, establishing partnerships with many leading telecomvendors in the field of service applications, border control components,access edge elements, and handsets.

BARCELONA -- BroadSoft, Inc.,a leading provider of VoIP application software, today introduced theBroadWorks® Mobility Manager, a component of the BroadWorks applicationplatform that enables mobile operators to quickly deploy and commercialisefixed-mobile convergence (FMC) and dual-mode services. The BroadWorksMobility Manager interfaces to the Mobile Network Operator's existingIntelligent Network to leverage existing applications, such as pre-paidcalling and roaming, in addition to enabling new FMC applications, such asseamless call handover between VoIP and circuit-switched domains.
