Flarion appoints Mike Gallagher as president and Andrew Gilbert as managing director of European operations

BEDMINSTER, N.J. -- Flarion Technologies, the architect of a mobile broadband technology for secure data and voice computing, today announced the launch of its European operations based in London, United Kingdom and the appointment of Mike Gallagher to the new post of president. "The expansion of our management team and the establishment of our European operation is evidence of our commitment to address opportunities with carriers and OEMs throughout the world," said Ray Dolan, Flarion's CEO. "We now have the critical talent in place to drive adoption of flash-OFDM(tm)." "I'm pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Gallagher to the new role of President effective immediately," said Mr. Dolan. "Mike brings tremendous experience in establishing new markets with disruptive technologies and he has been instrumental in the growth of Flarion since joining more than a year ago."In this new role, Mr. Gallagher continues the focus on building strong relationships with licensed mobile operators and data communications vendors, and creating OEM licensing agreements with current and future wireless infrastructure suppliers for global adoption of the flash-OFDM broadband technology. Mr. Gallagher's industry experience includes over 18 years of field sales operations supporting major telecommunications accounts. Before joining Flarion in spring of 2001, Mr. Gallagher was the Senior Vice President for Global Sales Operations for Nortel Networks' IP Services business unit. Flarion Technologies
