SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Everypath, the leading provider of mobile task automation software, disclosed its revenue for fiscal 2002 climbed 55% over fiscal 2001 while EPS increased by over 300% for the same period.The company attributed its results to market acceptance for its new product offerings, attracting eighteen new customers during the year, eleven of which closed during the last two quarters of fiscal 2002. Everypath's growth was particularly strong in Japan, where fiscal 2002 sales more than doubled versus the prior years results. A major factor in the EPS improvement was the successful transition from hosted application services (ASP) to a licensed software business model.During 2002 Everypath delivered a number of unique enhancements to its product line, including:
Support for mobile task automation applications that can operate in both real-time wireless and store-and-forward offline modes of interaction
Connectors to enable a single mobile task automation application perform transactions using data from multiple sources, including Siebel, SAP, Oracle, XML Web service, Notes, Exchange or virtually any other data source
Enhanced mobile development environment to enable creation of highly flexible user interface and task flow definitions that are optimized for handheld device deployment
Management and administration console to provide central control point for security, provisioning and monitoring of mobile applications
