NEW YORK -- ESPN, The Worldwide Leader in Sports, and Verizon Wireless, operator of the nation’s most reliable national wireless broadband network, announced today an exclusive multi-year agreement to deliver an unmatched ESPN mobile sports content line-up to Verizon Wireless customers.
Through the relationship, Verizon Wireless customers who sign up for a V CAST subscription will receive exclusive access to a variety of ESPN content choices, including Mobile ESPN, the award-winning, immersive sports content application which was the heart of the Mobile ESPN MVNO service. The Mobile ESPN application will be available only through Verizon Wireless.
