Ericsson Wins Wataniya Deal
Wins first deal for Ericsson Mobile Organizer (EMO) with Kuwaiti operator Wataniya Telecom

STOCKHOLM -- Ericsson has won its first Ericsson Mobile Organizer (EMO) deal in the Middle East with Kuwaiti operator Wataniya telecom breaking new grounds for mobile data services in the region. Deliveries will begin shortly and installation to be finalized within three months.
Under the agreement Ericsson will provide Wataniya Telecom with a complete push e-mail solution including both hardware and application software. Using Ericsson Mobile Organizer Wataniya will be able to empower its mobile users with value-added professional telephony services. This also confirms the operator's new focus on the enterprise sector paving the way for a leading position in the market.
