MetaSolv’s proven IP Service Activation solution enables Ericsson to deliver reliable, scalable, and cost efficient, differentiated services across its high speed fixed and mobile packet backbone networks.
Ericsson's PBN is an end-to-end, multi-service backbone solution for next-generation public networks, which enables mobile and fixed network operators to provide profitable and differentiated services for mobile, enterprise, and residential customers. MetaSolv's IP Service Activation solution becomes an activation component as part of the PBN network management suite, together with other components providing a complete solution to PBN customers worldwide.
MetaSolv's IP Activation capabilities enable rapid and efficient automated provisioning of complex IP services, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 MPLS-based VPNs, Virtual Private LANs (VPLS), Traffic Engineering Paths and IP Quality of Service, over large-scale, multi-vendor and multi-OS IP networks. MetaSolv delivers high-reliability activation through stateful service management, network auto-discovery and synchronization, as well as sophisticated policy-based configuration management.
