ACTON, Mass. -- Engim, Inc., developers of breakthrough silicon technology that dramatically expands the manageability, security and capacity of wireless LAN infrastructure, today announced the appointment of Steven Boulanger as its Chief Financial Officer. With over 20 years of experience in guiding the growth and profitability of venture-backed technology companies, Mr. Boulanger will support CEO Nick Finamore in directing the company's overall business strategies and initiatives.
Boulanger becomes Engim's CFO at a pivotal phase in the company's growth, according to Engim CEO Nick Finamore: "Steve's solid planning and operational skills are a key asset for Engim, and his appointment brings added strength to one of the industry's top management teams. Escalating enterprise demand for new levels of capacity, security and reliability in wireless LAN networks is driving the integration of our powerful Multi-Channel Wireless LAN silicon into a new generation of WLAN infrastructure products. As VP and CFO of Openpages, he managed the company's finance and business operations functions, led the acquisition of an adjacent market provider and directed the organization's strategic corporate development and distribution initiatives. He previously served as CFO and VP of Corporate Development for iWant.com, and served as CFO of Cimaron Communications, a fabless semiconductor company, which was acquired by AMCC.
