Ditech appoints former Jasomi CEO Todd Simpson as VP of marketing

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- Ditech Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: DITC), aleader in the development of voice processing systems for communicationsnetworks, has named Todd Simpson as Vice President of Marketing for thecompany. In this role, Mr. Simpson is responsible for all aspects ofmarketing at Ditech, including market strategy, product management,corporate communications and marketing programs.

Todd came to the company through Ditech's acquisition of Jasomi Networks, anaward-winning provider of VoIP session border controllers, in June of 2005.Since then, he has served Ditech in a number of senior management roles.

Todd served as President and CEO of Jasomi, establishing the corporation asa thought leader in the industry during his time there. Prior to Jasomi,Todd was CTO of Zi Corporation and founded several successful Canadianhigh-tech firms. Todd also has a Ph.D in Computer Science and has obtainedseveral patents.
