December 9, 2005
MILTON KEYNES, U.K. -- DIGITALK today announces the launch of its Broadband Telephony product which enables Service Providers to deliver Broadband Telephony services to both residential and business customers from a single DIGITALK Multiservice Platform (MSP). The launch is designed to capitalise on the growing number of European Service Providers that require a comprehensive solution to rapidly enter the expanding Broadband Telephony marketplace.
DIGITALK has developed a fully featured out-of-the-box solution that is supported by a fully integrated Network and Service Management software suite and has integrated billing capabilities, including real-time rating that enables Service Providers to limit the potential for fraud and bad debt through Prepaid service options.
Justin Norris, managing director and founder says of the new product, “We are seeing the market move rapidly toward a converged environment. IP based services will soon become the only way forward and as a business offering both TDM and IP we want to ensure we are offering our customers the best options available for them. Broadband telephony is a complementary addition to DIGITALK’s portfolio of SIP and VoIP solutions.”
DIGITALK’s Broadband Telephony services will also add the flexibility to provide subscribers access to their accounts through an online web portal which includes a customer self-care facility. The web portal not only allows subscribers to manage their accounts, but also provides Service Providers the capabilities to sign-up new customers online, which both reduces the overheads of customer call centres and improves the time to revenue for new subscriber accounts.
