CSL Extends ZTE LTE Contract

ZTE signs LTE network expansion contract with CSL, Hong Kong's leading mobile operator

SHENXHEN, China -- ZTE Corporation (“ZTE”) (H share stock code: 0763.HK / A share stock code: 000063.SZ), a leading global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, today announced it signed an LTE network expansion contract with CSL Limited (CSL), Hong Kong's leading mobile operator.

As part of the contract, ZTE will construct an extensive network of new base stations for CSL. In addition, ZTE will deploy its newest Uni-RAN-based, LTE-A-scalable R8884 base station for the first time. This is a significant step for CSL’s LTE network roadmap for the evolution of next-generation networking.

CSL launched Hong Kong’s first LTE network in 2010, which currently spans over 90% of Hong Kong.
