Cash-U and Ericsson form worldwide partnership to provide operators with mobile entertainment solutions

LONDON -- Cash-U Mobile Technologies, the leading provider of entertainment solutions for mobile operators and value added service providers, and Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERICY), the world’s leading supplier in telecommunications, have signed a global Licensing and distribution agreement whereby Ericsson will offer Cash-U’s entertainment solution as part of its offering to mobile network operators. Cash-U’s comprehensive solution allows mobile operators and value added service providers to offer the most enhanced mobile entertainment services to their subscribers while increasing ARPU and customer satisfaction. The heart of the Cash-U solution is the Pecan, a scaleable Telco grade entertainment platform that supports current 2G and 2.5G networks as well as emerging 3G networks. Pecan offers extensive entertainment and management capabilities as well as support for the most popular protocols including SMS, WAP, J2ME and emerging EMS and MMS.
