LAS VEGAS -- Broadcom Corporation (Nasdaq: BRCM), a global leader in semiconductors for wired and wireless communications, today announced support for the RVU Alliance's remote user interface (RUI) technology on its latest set-top box (STB) and digital TV (DTV) system-on-a-chip (SoC) solutions. Through its support of the RVU technology, Broadcom enables multichannel television service providers to deliver their high quality content with a consistent user interface to RVU thin client devices throughout the connected home. Broadcom will demonstrate RUI technology support on its BCM7420 STB SoC solution and BCM3549 DTV SoC solution at CES 2010.
