AT&T Adds LTE in Portland

Additional cell sites upgraded to 4G as part of ongoing AT&T investment in local wireless network

TUALATIN, Ore. -- With the busiest shopping season of the year for consumer technology gadgets starting this Friday, AT&T today announced that it has enhanced its 4G LTE coverage throughout the Portland area. As part of its continuing network investment and ongoing 4G LTE rollout, AT&T has upgraded more than a dozen mobile Internet cell sites in Beaverton, Milwaukie, Portland, Ridgefield, Tigard and Tualatin to expand AT&T 4G LTE coverage for area residents.

To take advantage of the faster speeds, AT&T is offering several LTE-compatible devices this holiday season, including new AT&T 4G LTE smartphones and tablets, such as the Sony Xperia TL, LG Optimus G, Samsung Galaxy S III, Motorola ATRIX HD, HTC One X, Nokia Lumia 920, Samsung Galaxy Note II, HTC One X+, Samsung ATIV smart PC and ASUS VivoTab RT.
