Alltel Wireless selects Huawei's EC360 data card

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Alltel Wireless, America's largest network, today announced customers now have access to data cards from Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. ("Huawei"). Alltel is the first North American wireless carrier to offer customers PC data card products from Huawei, a leader in providing end-to-end next generation telecommunications solutions for carriers around the world.

The Huawei EC360 data card allows laptop users to experience wireless broadband service at download speeds up to 2.4 Mbps, and supports Windows 2000, Windows XP and Vista operating systems. The EC360 card is available to Alltel customers for free, with the purchase of a qualifying data plan of $59.99 or more with a two-year service agreement. The Huawei EC360, with an MSRP of $189.99, is available in all Alltel Wireless retail stores and on www.shopalltel.com.
