STOCKHOLM -- Future Instrument Fiber Optics AB, Stockholm, Sweden has officially appointed 3SAE Technologies, Inc., Nashville, TN as their sole Master Distributor for North America. 3SAE is responsible for developing and supporting a new network of distribution channels for Future throughout the U.S, Canada and Mexico. A full service, support and repair center has been established in Tennessee for Future’s newest FTTX mini fusion splicers.
Future Instruments Fiber Optics has already established a strong presence in the FTTx world with its new EFS-150 Mini FTTx fusion splicer. This new splicer has the industry’s fastest splice cycle time with on board splice loss estimation. Until now this critical feature has only been available on more expensive fusion splicers for the field. Future’s fusion splicer kits are designed for true “Hands-Free” splicing in any outside plant environments. The EFS-150 now has a successful proven track record with several of the largest FTTH deployments around the United States. Long battery life, high speed heat shrink oven, Field harness and an accurate splice loss estimator have Future Instruments setting the bar high for all FTTx and LAN installations.
“We are excited to add Future Instrument to our portfolio; their new splicing technology will further enhance 3SAE’s reputation for providing the highest quality fiber splicing solutions” – Don Grasso, CEO of 3SAE Technologies, Inc.
