Mark Dudman joins MetraTech as vice president of engineering

WALTHAM, Mass. -- MetraTech, a leading provider of billing, customer care and revenue sharing software, today announced that Mark Dudman has joined the company as its new vice president of engineering, bringing more than 15 years experience in the software industry. He will be responsible for managing MetraTech's engineering organization, including software development, quality assurance and documentation, and for helping define MetraTech's technology and product roadmap. Dudman comes to MetraTech from MCK Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: MCKC), a leading provider of distributed voice solutions for the extended enterprise, where he was vice president of software development. In that role, he was responsible for software development, release and maintenance across all product lines and for managing development teams in Boston, Dallas and Calgary, as well as contractors in India. Previously, he was vice president of research and development at eDial, a leading developer of next-generation telephony solutions, where he took the product, a SIP-based audio conferencing server, from conception to a fully functional and Internet-scaleable product offering.
