Metacafe has opened up its Wikicafe editing tool to all site users -- without even requiring them to register or log in. Metacafe says this will help prevent tag abuse and improve search.

Highwinds named four new creative and technical agencies as customers today -- 9mmedia, i5labs, One Pica, and VirtuPoint. They are now providing CDN services through the Highwinds network -- an option that, reporter Ryan Lawler points out, could benefit both them and their customers.
