AI "Explanation Systems" are too hard to do
AI systems cannot explain WHY they recommend something without an "explanation system," which is harder to do than recommending! If a person made a recommendation, but could not explain why they made it, would YOU believe it without checking? No one would. So people stay in the loop! This represents a major issue for AI deployment for complex, high-value problems.
