Capital intensity and IT application decommissioning
Most of that reduction in capex/sales (from 25% in 2017 to 19% by 2020) comes from a reduction in fixed access spend as the FTTx build out is completed. But it is interesting to see IT transformation falling from 12% of total capex last year to 11% in 2020 as TIM begins "aggressive application decommissioning" after having implemented new CRM and billing systems in 2017. They will cut the number of IT applications from 605 to (just!) 300.
