Re: Multi-cloud management
Yes, it would be impressive but it is a complex feat- time will tell how much the management will drive efficiency and cost which are two key variables in multi-cloud management, along with the ever-present security and performance.

Re: Multi-cloud management
If they can in fact promise to companies a "product line meets four needs that enterprises face for multicloud deployments," and do it in an efficient, trouble free, and cost effective way there's no argument that they'll go well fitting the needs of the current customers and prospects down the line.

Re: Multi-cloud management
Silos typically bad for business unless there is a definite business reason (such as to protect competing business customers from learning each other's secrets), having all informaton available at all levels and all locations is essential.

<CEO Rami Rahm said the decline was driven by a shift to "scale out" from "scale up" architecture, particularly at several of Juniper's largest cloud customers. >

Intersting, did he say that they had anticipated this or that they only figured it out after the fact?

Multi-cloud management
Mitch, does this solution offer tangible benefits to help manage multi-cloud environments since they are infamous for being challenging to manage effectively? If so how is it proposing to handle the management with automation?
